Not a bug Image Compression.

    Images that have been uploaded to the server are not compressed to the required size. Simply forbids them to load.
    When uploading images tell a 2MB, and then allowed to 1mb Xen foro defaul compresses the image to the right.
    And you, he writes, do not download, reduce themselves.

    This is not a bug Narkriel. When user upload a big size, if you automatically resize it, that photo will be ugly or wrong size that does not match user's requirement.

    User must resize it first before upload to the forum.

    XenForo resize the images because they are attachment, it is ok. But for a gallery, it should not resize automatically.

    please give admins the choice to activate or not the auto-resize like attachments.

    Very Good!

    IMHO without this feature if you have not plenty of storage the majority of users will not upload images. :(
