Question How To Disable Videos Completely?

    So I'm using XG for my photos, and jaxel's xenmedio for videos. My current problem with XG is that I can't figure out how to disable videos completely.

    Even though I have "can embed videos" disabled in my user group permissions, i can still see "add new videos" in the drop down menu of XG:

    i think this would be a bit confusing to my users. is there a way to disable this?

    You are right about the "Add new videos" link, I will double check it.

    For the new videos link, it is site wide function, so for example, you do not have permission but others have, so the link is still usable. I will think about an option which can disable video embed.

    thanks! i understand how other people might like the videos thing, and i appreciate your work on it, but i've noticed a bit of a drop in video submissions on my site using it, since they get mixed in with all the other pictures, so i think its easier for my users to have two separate sections :)
