Help Profile Pictures (default) Album Not Showing Up In Gallery Index

    If a user adds photos to their default album Profile Pictures then it does not show up in the Gallery Index.

    The album is not visible in Latest Updated, Newest Contents, etc.

    However, if we go to Explore > New photos then the photos are visible.

    This creates an issue where when users upload to the default album their content is rarely seen because it is not included in the gallery index.

    How can we inlcude this content in gallery index or disable the default album Profile Pictures?

    This is expected. The gallery index is not fetching photos/videos from Profile Pictures which is a default album. Maybe I will add an option to include them.

    Ok, thanks. I guess I can see the benefit of a profile only album, but it is not clear to the user. So we get situation where the user uploads photos to the Default album and then requires support because their photos are not showing in the gallery.

    It would be great if there was an option to include the default album in the gallery.

    In the mean time, is there a way to disable the default album function? I can't find any main or usergroup settings for it.

    Ok. I guess I can hide it in the templates.

    Can you explain your thought behind creating the profile album feature? I'm not sure if I understand the purpose.

    The idea of same as Facebook. This will be used more in the future release. If you create a new album and upload then it is normal. If you would like to upload photo gallery and insert directly into the post or profile post then the album Profile pictures will be used. Or you just do not want to create an album and use default album.

    Makes sense, but it would be very helpful to have the option to include the default album and the mobile uploads album in the gallery. We get users who select this album then need support because their photos don't show up in the gallery.
