Hello. I have a couple of questions about your add-on XG

    1. I don't see the option but is it possible to get the BB Code for an image with thumbnail? small thumbnail.
At the moment i see Grab the HTML/BBCode. But when i paste it. It's really big. Is there an option for a small thumbnail? This would be useful when uploading many photos to a thread. Instead of having the full size thumbnail.

    2. Is it possible to grab all the BB Codes for all the pictures inside an album at once? For example: If there is 30 images in an album. I want to be able to grab all of the BB Codes at once. This would be useful when uploading many photos to a thread. Instead of copy and pasting each individual image.

    Hello mars,

    Thanks for considering purchasing XenGallery.

    1. Yes, you can see them in the Editor.

You can choose the size of them:

    2. There is no currently (maybe later). Only album bbcode which shows album's cover and link to the album.

    Ok. I see.

It would be easier if we could just get the BB code after we upload images. In the share box. It would save time instead of looking for the ID. And for uploading 50 pictures at once. I would save a lot of time too if we could get all the BB Codes. So then all we would have to do is copy/paste the BB Code into a thread to show many photos.

You can paste ID or the link of that photo/album. For instance:

    The album: http://www.sonnb.com/gallery/albums/the-big-picture.147/
You can use ID 147 or paste this link directly to the popup, it also understand.

Of course this must be improved, ideally we can choose photo or album directly without manually insert the link/id.

I agree about the get all bbcodes in album, I think it will available later together with select photo in Editor, we can select many of them, it will solve our concern.

Oh i just read the updates. So my new question is: Are you planning this feature in the future?

Another question: Is it possible to run this along beside the XenForo Media Gallery?

I have a question about something else. I'm not sure what it is called but in xenforo's media gallery it's called "lightbox". Not sure what you call it. But when i click on an image. It goes into "lightbox mode"

Is there an option in the admin panel to disable this? I would prefer if it went into the normal view of the just the image in a website.

For example. When i see this album

    http://www.sonnb.com/gallery/albums/sold-bmw-1m-tuned-by-best-cars-and-bikes-419-hp.71/

I would prefer if it skipped lightbox and went straight into this(after clicking the close)

    Is it possible?

And 1 more question relating the download image button.

When i view this photo. I see a "download" button.

    http://www.sonnb.com/gallery/photos/287/

If i "right click" "save image" i can also download the image.

It turns out both images are the same size. So there is 2 ways to download.

So my question is. Is there a way with your gallery to set a "Preview Image Size"?

This way. If the preview image size is set at 600x600. Even if they right click they only get the 600x600

And if they have permission to "Download" They can download the "Real Size"

This is would be good for image sites(photograph sites) so 5mb photos wouldnt have to load and only a small version. I wouldn't allow guests to view 5mb images.

    Is this possible?

Yes. Just disable Overlay in Style Properties:

    No and Yes.
    You cannot set preview size.

In XenGallery, we have: small size, medium size, large size and real size. What you get when right click and "Download" is large size, the one actually display on page. If you want to download real size, you need permission which is "Download privacy" set by album's owner.

I don't think it works because i just made a new album and i set "Download Original Photos" Permission to "Only Me"

Then i went on a different internet brower as a guest and took a look at the album i just made. I clicked on a photo. The download button was gone.(which is good) but i was able to "right click open image in new tab" and save the photo on my computer.

And the photo was the original size.

It depends. If your original photo size is smaller than our Large size (which is currently 1280x1280).

hmm i just checked.. the photo i right clicked saved is a little smaller than the orignal photo.

It's seems confusing. Or i'm confused

The size is a bit smaller. But the dimensions are still the same.

As I have mentioned above, your dimension 1024 is smaller than 1280, then large size and full size has the same dimensions. The file size is just because of compression rate while processing the file.
