    Hi guys,
    I've finally managed to get ffMpeg installed (Ubuntu 14.04)
    But now have issues installing php-ffMpeg

    ffMpeg is on latest version :(

    I've installed it all in putty and am stuck building the php. The only thing stopping us.
    Code:
    root@:~# aptitude install php5-ffmpeg
    The following NEW packages will be installed:
      php5-ffmpeg{b}
    0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 23 not upgraded.
    Need to get 15.8 kB of archives. After unpacking 57.3 kB will be used.
    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    php5-ffmpeg : Depends: libavcodec52 (>= 4:0.5.1-1) which is a virtual package. or
                            libavcodec-extra-52 (>= 4:0.5.1-1) which is a virtual package.
                   Depends: libavformat52 (>= 4:0.5.1-1) which is a virtual package. or
                            libavformat-extra-52 (>= 4:0.5.1-1) which is a virtual package.
                   Depends: libswscale0 (>= 4:0.5.1-1) which is a virtual package. or
                            libswscale-extra-0 (>= 4:0.5.1-1) which is a virtual package.
                   Depends: php5-common (= 5.3.29-1~dotdeb.0) but 5.5.9+dfsg-1ubuntu4.9 is installed.
    The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

         Keep the following packages at their current version:
    1)     php5-ffmpeg [Not Installed]

    Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?] y
    No packages will be installed, upgraded, or removed.
    0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 23 not upgraded.
    Need to get 0 B of archives. After unpacking 0 B will be used.

    root@:~#

    This anything to do with it?
    ffMpeg PHP
    and
    ffMpeg Ubuntu

    What also concerns me is this;

    So will that work??

    Actually I have removed the dependencies of ffmpeg-php. You can open
    sonnb_XenGalleryVideoUpload_Install and remove line 40->43 do remove this check. I will update addon to remove it.

    Thank you VERY much!!
    It's taken me two days' of working to try and sort this and if I can remove the dependency then amazing!
    Thank you @sonnb

    I am one happy bunny ha!
    Honestly two days or more I have been at this, so it's a HUGE weight off my shoulders.
    Thank you. ;)

    Me either. When I started working on this addon, I spent lot of days to get correct binary to make it works (windows).

    Brilliant, and yes I bet it took you a long time my friend to get this working, it's a big project that's certain!
    I'm really happy, it has taken a lot of fiddling to get it to go and I just couldn't.

    Indeed, a lot of work must have gone into this, so thank you once more.

    Dear sonnb,

    Last week we have updated the gallery to 2.5.2 but now I cannot upload video neither photo.
    For the video I get this message: Screenshot 2015-09-15 10.35.54.png

    For the photo It just sais: "There was a problem uploading your file."

    ( I have also tried to refresh the watermark, but it writes the same error massage as for the video.)

    Could you please help me?

    Make sure your watermark URL is correct. I afraid that it point to wrong path. I recommend you put: http://domain.com/path/image.png instead of /path/image.png.

    You are welcome. I will add a check when admin enter the watermark URL to get rid of this kind of error.
