Question Large Gallery, Possible Ddos From Users

    Really newbie question here. If I have large gallery and let's say 1000 concurrent connections to multiple images, is there a way I can set this up to where all my images are hosted on another server and will be completely transparent to the user?

    I want to avoid a possible DDOS from users without having to purchase multiple servers. For example how does 9gag support the amount of images and users connected to them at any given time?

    Also that makes me want to add a request, is there a way I can make the gallery display in a 9gag format? I would pay extra for that.

    You use [db] Attachment Store add-on to store your photos on Amazon s3.
