Question Exif Location Data

    if users upload photos that they took with a gps enabled camera/phone and the photos have location in the exif data will the photo automatically show on the location map with the location in the exif?

    I will process GPS information but will not show up in the map. User will manually do it.

    First, it does not have address name, we need 1 extra connect to get that. Second, user might do not like it automatically show up.

    I'm not talking about address. I'm talking about for example if someone is hiking or is on a boat and takes a photo with a GPS enabled camera/phone and the photo has the coordinates in the exif data.

    Of course it is better if has an option to deal with it but some users do not want that, we also need option to ignore show their locations. Maybe they will available later.

    Yes absolutely. My site is for backpackers/hikers and it's common for them to take pictures with a gps enabled camera. It seems natural for the gallery's location feature to be able to take advantage of that. It would just be another awesome feature of your awesome addon :)
