Question Problems With [bd] Attachment Store.

    I have [BD Attachment Store setup and its working fine with Amazon S3. All attachments/images are served from Amazon but it's not working with XenGallery

    Also getting this error when trying to rebuild cache/move files...

    Ok, so I enabled "force permissions" in the [BD] attachment store options and the photos are successfully uploading but sometimes the thumbnails in album view are broken.

    Ok so heres an update. I turned off image magick and rebuilt all cache stuff. I used the file move tool to move to S3 and that error happened but after that I look on the gallery and everything is working perfectly. Amazon S3 is totally working on my site! All file links point to S3.

    I spoke too soon. I just tried uploading a bunch of large sized jpegs and all looked good at first. The thumbnails were there in the first phase (where you can add descriptions) but then when I click done...

    When I import from thread the photos show in album view but dont show in the overlay

    Please rebuild after import to calculate photo's information. Overlay need it.

    For S3 concern, as I have mentioned in the option where you turn on Attachment Store in XenGallery, since you need connection to S3 so if you upload a file it will need to: upload to forum -> upload to S3 -> Create Thumbnails -> upload to S3. It will take time to make this done so sometime, if you server gets timeout, thumbnail might be broken.

    There is an option in the Attachment Store to delay processing. So when I upload something it goes into the standard xenforo attachments folder and stays there for a bit until attachment store comes along and sends it to S3 and then deletes the local copy.

    There was an update to attachment store yesterday. As far as I know all it did was add the ability to exclude certain file types. I updated and now xengallery doesnt work. Uploaded photos are broken 100% This really sucks. I wanna cry...

    Ok so here's an update. Cloudfront does not work with Xengallery. I disabled Cloudfront and am only using S3 now and now it's working. However... the import from thread does not work.

    That is behavior for XenForo's attachments, not XenGallery so I am not sure it will be 100% working as I have not check it yet.

    You mean import from threads which using attachments from S3?

    Yes. The import from thread isn't working. I am now using S3 without the delayed processing and it's working great... Except for the importing from thread function in Xengallery. PLEASE HELP SONNB!

    This is a different subject but I just noticed that when viewing in the overlay and you get to the last photo it does start over from the beginning in Google Chrome but it does not in Firefox and IE.
