Question Import Existing Pics From Thread And Image Resize

    I had a few questions:
    • Does the add-on resize images as they are uploaded? If yes, how can I configure the resize parameters?
    • What will be the best way to import images from existing threads? What all gets imported and does it change the thread in any way. I have a forum which has pics in different threads and I have a 350 page thread full of images.
    • Does it import linked images or attached images only? Many of the images are hosted on image sharing sites and on flickr.
    • Is there a sidebar widget for widget framework?

    Hello,

    1. It will have 4 sizes: original, large, medium and small. Currently there is no option for this.
    2. Using importer in Tools -> Import External Data.
    3. Only attached images.
    4. Yes, have a lot of types and options for you.

    Thanks.

    What I wanted to know in first point is. If I restrict maximum file size that can be uploaded to say 2MB, then will it let me upload 3MB images and compress it after upload or will it not let me upload at all?

    Currently, it will show error that your file exceeded limitation.

    I think from a usability point of view it should give a warning and resize the file size by compressing the image.

    Bought the add-on though. Where do I take the branding free from?
