It is for import only. Not for new uploading. Unless you import thread every minutes. Then you should go to Import External Data to import the whole forum.

But wont it only send new stuff to S3? It's not like it will overwrite anything.

all I want to do is setup a cron job to run your move function ever x minutes. Are you saying that this is a bad idea? I don't understand.

Why you need run it every x minutes? I just do not get your requirement.

it doesnt have to be anything specific. I just don't want to have to manually move them. There will be many times when I will not be able to get on the internet and do it. It has to happen automatically.

So you will usually import threads to Gallery? They are old threads or new threads? If they are new then why not post to gallery and then embed to the threads to save disk space?

Yes I think alot of the stuff in the gallery will come from the importer. I would LOVE to save disc space. I'm open to suggestions. How do we 'embed to the threads"? I like the sound of that. That sounds great. How do we do that? lol

what the users will do is start a thread and upload their images... then they will import them into the gallery. It cant be the other way around.

Yes, because you will waste double of disk space for these :D. Anyway, I believe we can solve your situation by a additional addon that will work for you.
