Question Gallery Tab Not Showing Up

I installed Xengallery in my forum and it seems to be working OK. It's in the Admin section and it allows me to change settings and create categories. But the "Gallery" Tab isn't there. Why didn't it show up?

I checked the (very brief) install instructions, and didn't see anything about adding it.

 

Yes, that was it! Your instructions don't say a word about permissions. "Upload, Install, Done.."
Here's the problem. I have about 12 years experience with VB. I've been using XF since, oh, Friday.
I'm a total and complete newb when it comes to XF. I installed your competitor on another XF site I run, and for that one, the permissions are in the applications area. So I looked in the applications area for the permissions for your software, no luck.
Now, it could be said that your permissions are in the logical place, and I wouldn't argue that, but for somebody totally new to both this software and XF in general, a hint in the install text on the fact that they need to be set and also where to find them would be helpful.
