Question Url Rewrite 'photos'

    Hi Sonnb (or anyone who may be able to help),

    I would like to rewrite the photos/ portion of the gallery URL to nothing - for example:

    http://www.airbrushforum.org/gallery/photos/cat.7366/ to
    http://www.airbrushforum.org/gallery/cat.7366/

    Not sure how complicated this is, but i'm assuming it would require modification in the .htaccess file and also modification in whichever template serves the html for photos so the links don't have the 'photos/' portion of the URL.

    Is this entirely difficult or is it something that is possible? I'd just like this to shorten the URL a little for better SEO.

    Unfortunately you cannot do that. You can change the "photos" to something else but cannot remove it. Because we have phottos/videos/collections..., we use for identify them. You can use Route Filter in XenForo to change them to something else.
