Is there an importer planned for XFRuser Album?

PhotoPost Pro 8.4 importer (vB and XF integration) and PhotoPost vBGallery have been added in 1.0.10.

Any chance something was missed in the zip? I just installed the 1.0.10 that you sent via email tonight and on the Importers page only "xfrUserAlbum" and "thread" is listed.

    Hello Kevin,

You could check "CONFIGURATION.txt" for more detail information. They are external importer so they are available in: AdminCP -> Tools -> Import External Data.

Ah, there they are, thanks! :)

I'm tweaking the code a bit for the vBGallery importer for the vB 3.x series so I can see how that goes. I did a quick test last night and I think there is potential there to get my old data converted over.

Before I dig too deep into it... how are the attachment types handled for non-image files? To clarify, with vBGallery I have zip files, avi files, swf files, and misc. other file types. Are they ignored or are they brought over?

I do not need to do that. 1.0.11 update would include:
    - User Album for vB 3.8.x
    - vBGallery 2.4.x for vB 3.7.x+

Non image files would be ignored.

Does the vbGallery 3.x works on vBB 3.8? Or vBB 3.8 requires vBGallery 2.x?

Any slim chance of the exceptions being logged somewhere so we know what didn't get converted? Or, a wish list item, have the exceptions imported into a XF thread? :D
I'm not sure. I left off at the 2.x series on vB 3.x version. There are some apparent differences though because in your vBGallery 3.x for vB 4.x importer it is using a table named "ppgal_user" that doesn't exist in the vBGallery 2.x version. I changed the importer to not look at the ppgal_user table (I didn't see where it was using it for anything other than validating the DB credentials) and it seemed to be fine after that.

    It is not available yet.
Are you sure? I am testing with 2.4.3 and it has ppgal_user, where it stores user's information.

Which one, the exceptions log or the wish list of importing the exceptions into threads? :)

It's been a bit since I've had the vB install running so I had to take a look to confirm the version number. I left off at vBGallery 2.3 on vB 3.8.7 and there is definitely no ppgal_user table. It is something they must have added in the 2.4.x version.
