Question Award For Uploaded Pictures

    Hi Sonnb,

    I would like to know if there is a way for members who upload pictures to get some points or awards if their pictures are in a specific category or collection ?

    The reason why I'm asking that is because I'm running a curated photo gallery : pictures uploaded by members are reviewed and (sometimes) selected by my curators.

    I need to give some points to members who have had their pictures selected.

    Would this be possible with XG and how ?

    Hello Cmely,

    Currently there is no pointing system in XenGallery. This could be consider as a suggestion which allow administered to give users some trophy point when uploaded to a category.

    It would be really a great addition to photo contest if those trophy points could be added automatically when a picture is uploaded in a category.

    It could also be a nice addition to send automatically alerts to 1st, 2nd and 3rd of the contest.

    Many interesting suggestions have been made in the discussion thread of the Xen Photo Contest addon on Xenforo forum (I'm not allowed to post link yet).
