Question Hide "download" Link?

    I would like to hide the "download" like which is above picture in full view mode. Is this possible ?

    You can do that by edit the template: sonnb_xengallery_photo_view_overlay.

    It is in sonnb_xengallery_photo_view. Please note that "Download original" is controlled by Privacy settings. Set it to "Only me" will invisible to the others.

    Maybe the "download" link could be also controlled in permissions ?

    It is designed to be controlled by Privacy so for now, it will not be controlled by Permission system. "Download" link is just the on screen image, which even can be saved by right click or save web page. Only "Download original" is valuable.

    Yes I know. But this is the same kind of logic that the suggestion I've made one time about disabling the right click: it's not useful (because if you want to copy the picture there are thousands of way to do it) but it's psychologically reassuring for users. Especially whan they are photographers :D
