Request Group Photo/video Likes Into Album Likes

Rather than have separate album and photo/video likes, we would appreciate an option to make the album likes equal to the sum of the likes for the content contained therein.

We have found that users mostly like the individual photos/videos, but when viewing the gallery, sorting, etc., they do it in album view. The problem is that an album may have only a few likes, but it is not intuitive because the individual content contained therein might have hundreds of likes.

I really think this change will make the product more functional.

 

Yes, that would work, but might be more intuitive to remove the ability to like an album and instead have the album likes equal the total likes of the albums content. When people hit like it is mostly when viewing a photo or video, BUT when people search through media they typically look at albums. Doing the above would make the system more in line with user behaviour, IMHO.
