Fixed If Editing Post With Xg Pics Get Multiple Copies

Hi

That one is a very big problem and if this cannot be solved, the XenGallery will getting useless for me.

Every time if i try to edit a post with some included images from a XG album, i get totally crazy results, such that images that have been before in the post are now 2-3-4 times in the post. But the added image isn't.

It's even almost impossible to edit text or add text. Results are similar disturbing.

To get that copies out is also almost impossible as the images are even in edit mode shown as images, not as BB-Code (links)....

Please help and fix a.s.a.p.



And if i try to delete those multiple copies and save the post....it's still there....the post is destroyed....has to be deleted and so also the whole thread is for the trash....

Sorry, but this is "ALPHA" stadium and for Alpha i don't pay....

At least editing of posts with images MAY NOT make ANY PROBLEM !

 

Temporarily disable all your addons except XenGallery.
Use the Default skin.
Edit-add-delete posts.
Do you still have the same problem?

Reproduced.....as you can see....

I posted some pics, always one empty line in between, edit the post and just wrote the word "Test" between first and second pic....and saved....as you can see....we have pic 1 now several times but no text....

Please fix that.

I found the problem i guess....

The problem might be that that any post with XG images doesn't get in BB-Code-Editor mode automaticaly when editing as this is standard with XF.

Example:

I edit a post with attachements or pics of the XFMG...it looks like this after pressing the edit button:



Editor goes automatically in BB-Code-Edit mode.

If i edit a post with XG album pics, i always get html or flash or java view...whatever...:



even if i press "more options" i got the same view.

I had to manually switch to the right mode to edit the post correctly.



This should not be....it's confusing members....

Again: This is not the XF standard and should not be. With XFMG it worked normally as it should...

I have normal customers with no big IT background. I cannot ask them to switch always manually to BB Code editor mode....as it should work automatically...

Of course not as you inserted the pics directly as attachments and NOT out of XenGallery....i guess you jus didn't understand the problem at all....

 

Anyway, the problems still exist and wether in XenForo-Comunity nor here sonnb answers questions.
And no updates at all....just nothing.

Please sonnb, i want my money back !
If you don't have time to develope seriously you should offer your buggy product as "freeware"...

 

Sorry, but this strange behaviour cannot be wanted. But anyway...waiting long time for the update and hope it comes soon..

 

I see you wanted to create a nice feature and i would apreciate it if there would not be that crazy, destructive behave which is of course a bug. If we could see the attachments as pics AND could edit them safely without switching editor mode...yes then i agree that it would be a great feature... Looking forward to the update...
