Not a bug Can't See Newly Uploaded Photo Controls

This may have something to do with my theme/style, but when I upload new photos, the photo controls such as "Tag People", "Location", "Set as Cover" and "Delete" are not visible. I have tried changing all sorts of colors around in my style properties but regardless of what I set things to, it's always invisible (and the surrounding boxes/background is of course the color of my page background). See attached screenshot.

Actually this is affecting all XenGallery icons now that I take a closer look. When in the lightbox viewer, left and right arrows, close button, etc. Icons in general are transparent or have a white box outline instead.

Try it with the default style.

It's fine in the default style, thanks for the suggestion. What is controlling that? Is it a font color, or an actual image icon?

Looks like it's using FontAwesome for those, right? I'm guessing my style is not allowing FontAwesome to be displayed correctly, does that sound plausible?

    Hello Justin,

It is not using FontAwesome. It use a unique font icons. To tell you exactly what is happening, could you send me the URL to your site? Better with an account. You can send me via conversation.

OK. Found the issue with your style. In your style, it has following CSS properties:

    upload_2016-11-27_19-12-18.png
    upload_2016-11-27_19-12-24.png

They override the font family used by XenGallery:
    upload_2016-11-27_19-13-26.png

So we have 2 things to do:
    1. Add !important after the font-family in the template sonnb_xengallery_icons
    2. Remove !important from the editor.css template.

    Let see how it works.

Thanks! I added !important to all of the font-family declarations in the sonnb_xengallery_icons template, but cannot find the other reference. There is no editor.css template, and I did a Search Template for "foundation" !important and it came up empty handed. Even searching just "foundation" came up with only one template where the reference wasn't anything to do with a font. Any suggestions as to how I can find what's setting that?

Nevermind, I looked at the same developer tools you did and see the editor.css inside of the glyphs director. Editing now.

I fully removed the !important declarations from editor.css, no dice :( Any other suggestions?

EDIT: I also provided your reply to the open ticket I have with the style creator, who was working on a couple of other things for me as well, so hopefully he will be able to shed some light on the issue too (or find the fix). Thanks for all your efforts so far, you've gone above and beyond.

Thanks @sonnb. I may take you up on that, since it has been a while without resolve on the other issues ticketed on the theme creator's site. What would be our next step in finding out what is not allowing your font-family from loading?
