You could adjust grid item's width a little bit bigger to make albums and photos fit your forum width. Appearance -> Style Properties -> sonnb - XenGallery - Grid Layout -> Grid Item Width

An FYI for those converting from vBGallery....

One other item to bear in mind is that using vBGallery categories you could have them nested and be able to upload files to each category. Using XenGallery "categories" are just containers that "albums" can be optionally assigned to. You do not upload images to the categories but rather to the albums. With XenGallery albums can not be nested inside of each other. Categories can but not albums. That means that, depending on how you had your vBGallery categories configured, you may not be able to duplicate the same hierarchy that you had before using XenGallery albums.

Just something to bear in mind as you might need to rethink stuff like your imported album names & descriptions. ;)

Well, if I understan dwell, I will have to make new public categories, where users canmake new albums?

Category is not required. You could make categories or don't.

By default, users are not required to pick a category when they upload an album but you could force them to select one by enable in options.

Thanks. Now I have tried to make a new categori, and it sais: sonnb_xengallery_category_name_must_be_unique

This is because of duplicate category name. Missing phrase would be fixed.

Ok, I see, that there is a duplicate... Some categories are also shown as Albums.

It is not duplicate Nana. It works as expected. Because category can contains category so it would be imported as album and category to keep your category's structure.

One more question. It seems that I corected the categories, but now I have a categorie called Private Galeries and inside of it an Album with the same name. Both of them are containing hundreds of photoes and albums.

What happens, if I delete the Album called Private Galleries? Will it delete all the pics included or move them to the main category? (I do not want to delete them of course.)

    Hi,
I imorted my data from Vbuelletin 4 and it worked fine. (saved the import log)
Now I'm struggling with the ohot importt for xengallery...
I suspect I forgot something (I can't see any menu with xengallery ont the frontend.. )

AND when I try to import it says
    Erreur
Le préfixe de la table ou le nom de la BDD est incorrect.

I triple checked the names and prefixes...

I did'nt find any answers searching her, so I'm asking ;-)

It says that the prefix is not correct. Make sure you input correct prefix (prefix of the vBulletion installation) in the import configuration page.

Could you post a screenshot of your vBB db? I could help you if you can send me your admin and phpmyadmin (old vbb) via conversation.
