Help Issue Allowing Member To Add Photos To A Public Gallery

    A member created a gallery and set it so 'Everyone' can add photos to this gallery. Other members let them know they did not have the option to do this because they did not create the album. As an admin, I also did not have an option to add to this gallery.

    I created my own test gallery, set to allow 'Everyone' to add photos. I created a test account to see if members could add to this test gallery, and still nothing. I set gallery to allow 'Registered Users' to add photos, and still nothing.

    I was just wondering if anyone had a solution for this.

    Hello TIA,

    Is this album inside a category? If yes you might check the category permission as well.

    It could help if you give me an test account on your site.

    There are no categories set for any albums.

    Here is the Admin album open for Everyone to upload
    indianmotorcycles.net/gallery/albums/testing.764/

    And a test login:

    I saw the issue on your site. It is not because they do not have permission to upload but because the upload button is missing due to the site's style.

    In your current style, the upload button is moved into the title bar which unfortunately is hidden (by the styling of XenGallery). Therefore, this button is not visible.

    You either need to make the title bar visible (template editing - sonnb_xengallery_album_view.css) or move these buttons out of the title bar.
