Manual Rebuild Processed Not Completed

    I regularly see "There are manual rebuild processes that have been stopped before completion. Click here to complete them." in the AdminCP since updating to the latest version.

    Looking at the xf_deferred table in the database, there are two records :

    1
    unique_key : sonnb_XenGallery_Deferred_DeleteUserAlbum
    execute_class : sonnb_XenGallery_Deferred_DeleteUserAlbum

    2
    unique key : sonnb_XenGallery_Deferred_DeleteUserContent
    execute_class : sonnb_XenGallery_Deferred_DeleteUserAlbum

    Is this something local to me, or a bug in XenGallery?

    Hello Marcel,

    Do you see any error in Server Errors? These classes will be triggered when a user was deleted and the Delete user content option is selected in admincp.

    Hi

    No, there are no server errors logged at the same time. (There was one, but it was completely unrelated).

    It is never be completed or you can click retry and it works?

    I click to manually complete them and it works.

    I see. Therefore you will see no error because actually there is no error. Just a note that it only there if you deleted a user (and with your current options setting). I will note this to see what could be done.

    Shouldn't XenGallery be executing these processes automatically?

    Yes. It should be. But there must be a reason to not doing it. I do not know why yet since we just add it to the execution pool as normal. I will investigate more and let you know.

    It's not a big problem as I try and catch them when I can and manually run it.

    Do you also configure the move contents from an user to another when this user is deleted?

    Mine is set to permanently delete. I don't delete users though.

    Can you share what do you see in the xf_deferred table when it happens?

    These classes only be triggered if an user is being deleted. Is it your case? (I am checking it anyway).

    The only time users would ever be deleted is if they were flagged for StopForumSpam upon registration and I opted to deny their account. Is it running that task for those users as well even though they can't have any images?

    Yes. The task is still created. The image count (whether they have images) will be handled by the task. If they do not have an image, it will exit and delete the task. The main issue is why it does not run automatically and requires manually action.
