Question After Photopost Import - Some Questions

    So i've run the importer for from my PhotoPost successfully however I have a few questions:

    1. Categories have been moved across but can't see the categories when I go to our gallery page - http://forums.deeperblue.com/gallery/
    2. No photos or albums seems to be associated with categories
    3. When I go to the main Gallery page none of the importer albums show up
    4. Albums have been imported under my user - can I re-allocate albums to other users?

    2. I see there are 2 albums associated to category: FreeDiving
    3. There is no imported albums?
    4. Currently it is not possible to change album/photo's owner.

    Hi - I found that categories was disabled in the admincp so had enabled them.

    As far as #3 is concerned - you can see all albums got imported under my username for some reason!! If you click on my gallery profile you can see they all are under my name even though photos under them are uploaded by other people :( I need to correct this - how do I go about it??

    Also on the main gallery page there are no albums listed apart from 3 new albums created since we installed the gallery.

    According to this, as I only can see 3 albums in your gallery so I cannot answer your question
    because I do not see them, where are they?

    Albums from Photopost will be owned by you because Photopost does not have albums, just categories which were manually created by you.

    Sonnb - right sorry was on my iphone but not explaining myself properly.

    So i've run the importer and categories got imported, photos go imported and a whole load of albums (which related to categories) got imported under my name. You can see them all here:

    I supposed what I was expecting was:

    1. Categories to get imported (done!)
    2. Photos to get imported and assigned to the right person (done!)
    3. Any albums created by people in PhotoPost to be created under the right name in XenGallery and show up as an album under their username (this seems to be true - done!)
    4. Any categories in PhotoPost that had photos under would have the same categories in XenGallery with photos under those categories (not done...)
    5. Any albums imported would appear on the homepage of the gallery (not done...)

    I also have the following challenges:

    1. I go into an album created during import (such as this one: http://forums.deeperblue.com/gallery/albums/freediving.146/) edit the category in that album and set a cover photo however it doesn't appear as an album under that category (http://forums.deeperblue.com/gallery/categories/freediving.79/) - why?
    2. also that none of the imported albums have a cover photo and I need to go in and assign them all manually.

    Hope that all makes sense?

    Also - is there any way to merge albums easily?

    4: Categories which contains photos will be imported as albums and will belong to its parent category not itself.

    5: You need to rebuild album and photo after imported. Please go to: AdminCP -> Tools -> Rebuild Caches. Your link was helpful to find this out.

    Can you give it one more try?
    After you did number 5, cover will be automatically added.
    There is no. But you can multiple select photos and move to the others.

    Rebuild seems to have fixed things appearing which is good :)
