Implemented Animated .gif

    For the two projects I have, I use a TON of animated gif's. Currently there is no way on the gallery to see before hand if they are animated or not. Usually, images are uploaded in jpg or png format, and those that are gif seem to be animated.

    Can we get something like Tumblr has? To "pre-show" it is a gif?

    As seen on Tumblr.... Before going in to view the image, I pretty much know it is an animated .gif

    The animated effect would be lost during resize process. This could be supported in future.

    I'm not interested in the thumbnail being animated... I'm looking more for an overlay (or watermark over top of the image) to display that the file is indeed a .gif
