Request Location Exif Data Used For Location Map Automatically

I have brought this one up in the past but it's something I really want. My users are mainly backpackers and alot of them use smartphones to take picture and obviously many of these phones are GPS enabled. It would be FANTASTIC if the gps coordinates would be used to pin the location on the google map. This way the user doesn't have to manually set the location for the album or photo. This would be an awesome feature.
