Implemented Ways To Use Images In Post?

I was wondering if it would be possible for images to be quickly reused in posts. As an example, User a posts photo.jpg in the gallery. During a discussion in thread xxx, User a needs to reference it. What would be great is if there could be a insert from Gallery option for posts?

 

So that could be a BBCode added into the editor? Any way of creating like a button that when it is clicked opens an overlay with their images in it?

what is the correct sintax?
Example: i have one photo id=3
I put in post : [xengallery ]3[/xengallery] but the photo not shows

I would love to buy this addon if it have that function

 

In my thoughts, just have a BBcode (like XenMedio) to add default album layout to the post. And we will have a "galleria" attached to a post

I like that!

The next thing IMHO is let the users select from a list or thumbnails their albums/photos instead of enter manually the album's or photo's IDs.

 

Just out of interest how far away is this from being added to XenGallery? So far its a really great gallery. Having the ability to click and add images to a post in editor would so much more user friendly and make this a 5/5 gallery.
